Manganese Oxide (Welding Grade)
Overview:
Manganese Oxide (MnO) Welding Grade is a specially processed oxide used in the manufacture of welding electrodes and fluxes. It acts as a critical deoxidizing and alloying agent, ensuring stability of the welding arc, improved mechanical strength, and enhanced performance of welded joints.
Key Benefits:
- Arc Stability: Ensures smooth and stable welding arc.
- Deoxidizer: Removes oxygen from molten metal, reducing porosity.
- Mechanical Properties: Enhances tensile strength, hardness, and wear resistance of welds.
- Fluxing Agent: Improves slag formation and weld bead appearance.
Specifications (Typical):
- Appearance: Fine brown/black powder
- Manganese (Mn): 55–60% (min)
- Moisture: ≤ 1.5%
- Insoluble matter: ≤ 2%
- Particle Size: As per electrode manufacturer's requirement
Applications:
- Welding electrode manufacturing
- Flux cored wire production
- Foundry applications (as a deoxidizer)
Packaging:
- 25 Kg / 50 Kg HDPE bags, Jumbo bags, or customized as per client needs
